how do you like it? I've been wanting one ever since I got my new tv a month ago. It has a lot of good reviews but I just want more input. What kind of TV do you have btw?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif just got the hd drive for my xbox... I've noticed more BR available at the stores too.
didnt pirates come out on hd-dvd MONTHS ago?
No. POTC is DVD & BluRay only, it's Disney. Disney is BluRay exclusive. Paramount & Dreamworks are HD-DVD exclusive.Yes.
And if it comes down to one over the other, it's getting pretty obvious that Blu-Ray will most likely be it.
What are these features?? From the reading that I've done it seems that BlueRay is a better format. BluRay discs are capable of PCM 5.1 uncompressed surround sound while I don't think ANY Hd-dvds have that. That alone is enough for me to choose bluray. Also the fact that MGM and 20th Century Fox are both bluray exclusives. I don't know. I don't even own an HDTV yet so it's pretty obvious I'm waiting this war out.I still see HD-DVD winning on the video front as it has more features while Blu Ray may win on the PC front for data storage.
