didnt know beavers built damns pretty sure they just build dams.

and quit whining BR is a better format than hd-dvd. The discs already exceed the size of hd-dvd and that gap was only going to get larger.

its better now for the end consumer, i guess you can be pissed your out the 200 bucks for your toshiba player that will be useless in the coming months, but other than that quit whining.

What makes BR better then HD-DVD? I like both but they are practically the same **** shit. They do have HD-DVD disk that matched the size of BR not sure if it even ever came out though. Only **** difference is one is blue and one is red and one has more studio support then the other. Useless in a couple of months? It's not like it's going to all a sudden stop working, it can upconvert dvd's just fine and still watch the hd-dvd movies that you have on it already.

br disk sizes have been better from the start and will continue to exceed the hd dvd size.

Also br had the edge with lossless audio in the beginning. Havent read about it lately as I have been busy with school, but I would assume the same is true now...

The one thing that bugs me about both formats, and XBOX/360 included, is the case. Sure it looks flashy and shit, but it completely clashes with the artwork of whatever media is in there. And the add on for 360 with 5 free movies is tempting, just to get movies I don't own yet on a newer format. Even 6 more movies would justify the price of it for me, since I rarely watch movies anyway. As soon as Ps3 gets a few more games, I'll be looking at getting one of those as well. It is a **** impressive machine, way ahead of its time in terms of hardware and overall features for what is effectively a gaming console/toy.

The wii is fun stuff, regardless of its horsepower.
