Say goodbye to your HD-DVD players, Blu Ray is here to stay...

I still think there's a good chance by the time there's enough base for one or the other to become a dominant format, we'll go to a better way of data storage anyway //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

indeed. i would strongly like to see something NOT disc based. there has to be a more stable format for media storage than something that easily damaged. and the way USB drives have been growing, i dont see why they couldnt make some sort of USB or otherwise plug and play device that would contain the media.

Well the Lord of The Rings trilogy will only be released on Blu-Ray, so once that happens I'm sure HD-DVD will get too far behind and eventually fold. Also the Star Wars movies are going to be released on whichever format is winning in the next 2 years. Which is good news for Blu-Ray.

WOW... If that link isn't a pro HD-DVD site than I don't know what is...
Even the links they have are anti-Blue Ray... If you don't think so, look at how they word things. WOW...
