I liked it better than Batman as a whole, if not for Ledger's performance.
Wanted knew it was a far fetched action flick and it kicked *** doing it. Batman tried too hard to be epic and felt a lot more "bungled" to me.

Batman is not epic..
Cannot be epic... Some movies just don't work trying to be epic, and just turn out to be shit.

Yeah it is definitely an overblown flic.

Honestly I'd see it again just for Ledger though, and it annoys the shit out of me to admit it, because I hate feeling like I'm flowing with the "buzz", since the "buzz" is usually ignorant horse shit.

He really did deserve his praise for that performance. I felt like a psychopath for days after seeing it.

I disagree. I walked out before TwoFace was even 'born'. - While he was ******* face with the apple sauce on the ground ready to blow his *** up.

The hype was over the top. I expected brilliance and for the first two hours of the movie, you could tell who'd seen the movie and who had not because they'd laugh at everything he said even though it wasn't funny.

Heath's performance might me good at the end but that does not make him anything. Nicholson is Joker as far as I'm concerned. At least he broke boundaries with his performance.
