San Antonio Job offer.. Should i move..???

It's like any other city/ state. You have your bad parts of the city and your good parts. If your afraid of the bad blacks, mexicans and white trash, stay away from the South and Southwest sides of town. The Alamo Heights, Oakwell Farms, Stone Oak areas are 95% rich white if that's what your looking for.
There are lots of colleges here, so that means lots of college aged girls. Lot's of bars/ nightcluds if that's your thing.

It is ****ing hot in the summer and midly hot in the winter (no snow).

There is a lot of military here, so that means lots of ethnic diversity. I think San Antonians are very friendly just in general compared to Houstonians (I lived there as well).

We have a very low economy, so that means low cost of living and ect...

We were also labeled the second fatest city in the US (I had no part in that).

You can get a very nice apartment in a nice part of town for $800 (one bedroom). I think in the past year, they have built at least 25 new apartment communities that I have seen. Toyota put a new plant on the South side, so we have received quite a few new people to the city.

Yes, are radio stations ****.

By the way, I have never been shot at.

What else do you want to know?
ummnot to much after that... wheres the gym??
There on every corner just like Starbucks.

i lol'd

I just moved from there about a year ago after being there for 2 years

- Houses are cheap to buy. We had a 1700 sqft house for 1100/mo at a 15 year loan. 30 would have been around 700. Many apartments

- plenty of fine women around there, plenty and very diversified. Many good clubs and bars all over the place.

- Tampa > SA, but $$$$ to live in tampa > $ for SA

- SA radio stations are horrible, get xm or sirius

- Almost everyone is nice.

I live in Dallas, I been to Houston an it sucked. I wore my body armor or it was close by.

San Antonio is by far better and a nicer bunch of people. They are building like crazy down there, So you should be working lots of hrs.

Thier is a big Illegal Alien problem down here, So keep your Insurance up cause they can't drive for Sht.

Being that I lived in Chicago and the people up there are crooks. Mostly the Politicains lining there pockets off the backs of us working stiffs.

They have FiOS all over the place, So Internet should be no problem. The price is right to around $29.00 for 15/2 which is enough unless you want to run a TV show out of your house.

Cost of living is pretty good too. Gas prices are the same all over so not biggy there.

Just think what you want to do 5 years from now, I would before I moved.

It's pathetic about the gym situation. You can head to the gym just about anytime durring the day and there is no wait for the equipment. They must make a killing by not having to buy new equipment because it's always new.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

have u seen my beach ball

actually is there any water in sa?/ besides the river
The beach is maybe 1.5-2 hours away. There are lots of rafting and tubing rivers as well towards Austin and up north.

6th Street in Austin is great.
