San Antonio Job offer.. Should i move..???

thanks man, i dunno about any more questions... They've all somewhat have been answered throughout the thread... mmmmmm... im use to girls in Duluth as being real stuck up and arrogant.... Just because we have 2 D1 universities in a town of 90K .. Which who most of them come from the twin cities area and think there better than everyone... How are the women down there, the same or descent, I know its all about where you go and what nite yadda yadda, but overall are ppl pretty friendly down there
oh ok.

yea for the most part, people are pretty friendly down here. but as with all cities, they've got their bad parts. but i've got family in all parts of the city so it doesn't really affect me much as to where i'm at.

but yea the bishes are fine! especially the latinas //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif . though like i said before there's all kinds of women here. not just one specific type/group.

oh and also, utsa has a crazy girl-guy ratio. oh and san marcos is like 20 minutes away from sa, which san marcos is a college town because of stephen f austin university. so partys are everywhere. not to mention austin is like 2 hours away from sa or somethin like that

do it. please. i was born in SA and grew up just outside of town. stay on the north side of town, along 1604 between helotes and universal city, or the suburbs north. by far, the best part of town. its really not that big of a city. lots of people and large in size, but very simple and laid back. i live in houston now, nothing like it. houston blows, san antonio is nice. the people are nice, courteous. there is a strong mexican culture and a hispanic majority (dont take that as a bad thing). good luck, if you have ANY questions about the city, post. id be happy to answer.
i agree. my aunt lives on the northside off of 1604 and o'connor rd. it's a nice area. i think i would take san antonio over houston as well

You know I read most of the threads, but skipped the last ten, or so. I would just say that at 27, you have a lot of time yet to explore the world. Take a chance, man! It could be the best thing you ever do. At the very least, a good learning experience. Get some work experience, and then if you don't like where you are go experience Reno. My best friend's brother lives there, and said that it's not what job can you get, but which one do you want? He said they're begging for help out there. So, if you don't like Texas, try something else. The midwest IS dying. Jobs here ARE hard to come by. Take a chance, you can't get hurt by going where the jobs are. Or, stay here and fight tooth & nail for a job in the heartland...

It's like any other city/ state. You have your bad parts of the city and your good parts. If your afraid of the bad blacks, mexicans and white trash, stay away from the South and Southwest sides of town. The Alamo Heights, Oakwell Farms, Stone Oak areas are 95% rich white if that's what your looking for.

There are lots of colleges here, so that means lots of college aged girls. Lot's of bars/ nightcluds if that's your thing.

It is ****ing hot in the summer and midly hot in the winter (no snow).

There is a lot of military here, so that means lots of ethnic diversity. I think San Antonians are very friendly just in general compared to Houstonians (I lived there as well).

We have a very low economy, so that means low cost of living and ect...

We were also labeled the second fatest city in the US (I had no part in that).

You can get a very nice apartment in a nice part of town for $800 (one bedroom). I think in the past year, they have built at least 25 new apartment communities that I have seen. Toyota put a new plant on the South side, so we have received quite a few new people to the city.

Yes, are radio stations ****.

By the way, I have never been shot at.

What else do you want to know?
