San Antonio Job offer.. Should i move..???

My brother and I just up and moved to Dallas/Ft. Worth from Nebraska without knowing many people or the area. And it was a great change. I would say go for it and if you dont like it than move back, but you will always regret those 'chances' that you dont take.

change is good. i had a blast living in orlando the short time i was there
Weird .. That was another option i had from an army buddy in Tampa... He said i could get a drywall / taping job out there making good money too..

SA> tampa???

very true

fvck dat shlt.texas has got to house some of the dumbest humans ever birthed.

i reckon that if you move to texas from mn, you can anticipate a 12% IQ regression.
You did not capatalize a single thing except IQ. I think we can all agree the majority of "idiots" in the USA were "birthed" (not born like normal humans) in Boston.

well i didn't read through all of this thread, but i'll put some input in.

me living in texas all my life, i was born way way south, like 10 minutes from mexico, moved to houston when i was like 6 and been here ever since(now 19). i have family all over texas but my closest relatives are in san antonio. i visit there atleast 4 times a year and i may even end up moving there in the near future, like within a year, probably next spring semester to attend utsa.

but anyway, san antonio is a great city. but like most of texas(southern atleast) it is very diversified. although i've never been upnorth, i would guess there are majorites amongst the population(whites predominantly i presume?). i like the fact that texas has such a mixture of people, especialy in the big cities like houston/austin/sa/dallas.

i guess theres' alot of things to do here, like fishing, go to the beach, and water/amusement parks. but i think that's anywhere you go except for maybe the beach. san antonio is a beuatiful city though. ummm idk what else to add, so i guess just ask if you've got any more quesitons?

thanks man, i dunno about any more questions... They've all somewhat have been answered throughout the thread... mmmmmm... im use to girls in Duluth as being real stuck up and arrogant.... Just because we have 2 D1 universities in a town of 90K .. Which who most of them come from the twin cities area and think there better than everyone... How are the women down there, the same or descent, I know its all about where you go and what nite yadda yadda, but overall are ppl pretty friendly down there

do it. please. i was born in SA and grew up just outside of town. stay on the north side of town, along 1604 between helotes and universal city, or the suburbs north. by far, the best part of town. its really not that big of a city. lots of people and large in size, but very simple and laid back. i live in houston now, nothing like it. houston blows, san antonio is nice. the people are nice, courteous. there is a strong mexican culture and a hispanic majority (dont take that as a bad thing). good luck, if you have ANY questions about the city, post. id be happy to answer.
