How fast are the connections with data connect vs. wifi?

Data connections w/a full signal is quick. Wifi is faster though.

yes wi fi is completely free as long as its not a hotspot that requires a fee.....i personally haven't tested it because i haven't upgraded yet, but i have read around forums and have heard its better than the data, but others have said its not, but i don't see the need in getting any of the data plans since i already have the unlimted text and at school they have free wi fi and thats where i'm at usually

All the wi-fi phones that I have encountered. They were features. Where they could connect to a nearby wireless network.

I didnt state anything about the blackjack noobx.

So, the best idea is to get a wi-fi capable phone and if I have wi-fi at work, then I have no requirement for an additional plan (data connection)

So, I should focus my search on wi-fi capable phones.
