safe way to mount amp?

Is there any way to safely mount my amp on my sub box? I was thinking some of those little rubber washers. Or still not a good idea?

i feel there is no difference between mounting on a box or 2 inches away on a rack because regardless the box in secured to something, amp is secured to something and at the end of the day they are secured to each other through something else and feel the same vibrations anyway. 99% of people who i know who mount it on the box have no issue......think about home theatre subs with built in plate amps or guitar amps....no problem

Edit: just do the rubber washer thing so there is air space in between for cooling

That's what I do with my amps I mount them on the back of my box using 8 thick rubber washers( 2 on each corner ) an I have never had any problems.

I'm sure you will be fine as long as the amp has breathing room an it's secure to the box.

If it's not one of those "hand built" American or European made amplifiers that cost ridiculous money, I see no reason not to mount an amplifier to the subwoofer box. Look at the home audio subwoofers, including some very expensive systems. They all have amps mounted to the subwoofer body. Today $200 buys a kilowatt amplifier. If the amp stops working 5 years from now, I will just buy a cheaper, better amplifier then. The only issue is with air circulation. Some people recommend mounting the amplifier to a board for this reason, and then the board to the subwoofer box.

You will be fine mounting it to the enclosure. You can use rubber mounting washers to be extra safe.

Its a Memphis mojo 4k. It's the biggest amp iv had yet so just trying to be careful....

Some cheap velcro does the trick too, keeps everything in place just fine.

As long as your box is solid there shouldn't be an issue with vibrations or anything when mounting to the box. I've always attached mine straight to the boxes.
