i have a 1.5^3ft box. i want to add a aero port. how big in diameter does the port need to be? can i put the port on a different side than the sub?

One 4" aero will work, and yes the port can go to the side. If it is a box in the trunk put sub facing forward...port facing corner on the passenger side.

alright. my box is 22in long. is it ok for the port to be close to the magnet on the subwoofer or no? i have never used a ported box so idk if its okay or not
