SA Nightshade Subwoofer Question...

They are good subs. They are similar to a RE MT. One probably won't take 3k constantly.

some of the custom built ones will take 2.5-3k daily...the one i bought from teedot is a custom, he recommended 3k daily n im feeding it 2400...its taking it like a champ, no smell, jus pure clean bass

I wouldn't hesitate to power it with a 3k amp. I'd rather have headroom and only need 2k of it rather than not having enough power and clipping the amp while trying to get more output from my sub.

a nightshade is ALOT different than MT. yes they both use triple stack 9" motors and 12 spoke baskets thats it...

The nightshade is an awesome woofer. You can run a 3k watt amp to it no prob. A good example is one of my old bass teammates had 2 nightshade D1 18s wired to 2 sundown 3500s at .5 ohm on 16V batteries and the subs took it with no prob
