what is the best method of removing all leftover spider and surround for a recone?? Oh and thanks to rob31 for the ****** deal.

scrape as much off as you can with a razor or scraper. use an angle grinder or a wire brush to remove the rest.

I use an angle grinder, dont think it gets much quicker and easier.

cut the surrond then cut the spider, pull the parts out. to clean the spider landing its ez on a sa, score with a razor knife basket edge to center deep. then use a flat screwdriver and hammer and tap one side of the cut it will lift and pull up. the surrond slide a razor all the way around...
