SA 12 ported box for my son

Just bought my son a SA-12 D4. I'd like to build a box with him, but I haven't done any car audio since my teens! I'm thinking a slot ported box would be cool. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried the searches time and again but I'm not very good at it. Amp is a Mmats D700.2

Vehicle :03 F150 crew cab

Location in the vehicle:Right rear(seat removed)

Subwoofer make and model:Sundown SA 12 D4

Number of Subwoofers:1

Type of Port (Kerfed, Slot, Aero, etc.):Slot

What type of music do you like?:Rap/Hip Hop

Tuning Freq (Hz):35?

An aero port will save you some space and you will get more output just like a slot port, one thing to keep in mind is say you are using a 6"aero port you have to at least leave 6" from the back-end of the aero port inside the box if using an 8" port leave 8" from back of inside port.

Actually the minimum is half the diameter if need be, it will still work fine without repercussions.
