S12L7 in a dual 2 or 4 ohm?

which resistance would be the best for a single 12" Kicker S12L7? Also if you know of a good amp for it please let me know. Thanks.
You should decide on ur ohm load from what amp you chose.

Most would get a 1ohm stable monoblock amp and a dual2ohm subwoofer.

If you think you might eventually upgrade to 2 L7s, I would get the D4 and wire it to a 2ohm load for now and then 1ohm later.

If you think you'll be sticking with the 1 L7, I would get a D2 and a 1ohm stable amp.

what's a d2(or d4)? who makes them? and are they an amplifier? your post kinda confused me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

heres the deal with the 2 ohm subs you can run a amp at 4 ohms or 1 ohm

with the 4 ohms sub you could run 2 ohm or 8 ohm so you have to decide if you are ever going to upgrade to more subs and then decid on an amp before the ohm load of your sub

that kicker zx750.1 is a solid amp. but, you might wanna feed it more power. even though an 12" L7 is rated at 750w rms, it'll easily handle much more power. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
