Just thought I would throw some pics up of a console I am doing.

Took a stock s10 console, cut the cup holders out, molded a single air gauge, cut a swoop/wave design in it and it also holds a switchbox.

Don't have pics of it stock or me cutting it, but I started taking them when I layed some fiberglass on to shape it up.

Well it stopped raining and stayed away long enough for a couple coats. If I can, weather permitting, i will do a couple more tomorrow. But these are good enough for you to see what it will look like finished.

I'll add some installed pics when I get them.

And yeah, it is suppose to look like that. it is Flat Black. Not my style, but he loves it.

As usual, it looks Pimp as hell....

I've been waiting to see you do a 2nd Gen one...

Whats that hole/area beween the rear hole and the gauge hole? Is it just a small storage cubby?

The rear hole is for the switch box right?

Can you take a pic with the switch box in? I wonder how accessable and usable the switch box is there?

I'm really diggin it...

lastly, if you don't mind, how much would your charge for something like that? Not painted, but ready to paint?

I have been wanting something like that, but with 2 or more Dakota Digital Gauges... I have two (2) for PSI, (1 for Tank PSI and 1 for Bags PSI) and two (2) for the audio system(1 for Volts and 1 for amps)...

Again looks sweet!!!!! Love your work...

Also, I was lookin at your site, do you take paypal for box Plans? I'd like to have you do one, for a single vented 12" RE XXX...

That hole you speak of is for the stick shift.

The switch box will sit in that cubby, but it will slide in and out when he wants, with the cord going inside it.

Hit me up on AIM or MSN to doscuss a console for you. For the box designs, yeah, paypal is the preferred form of payment.

It rained all day today with tornado watches so Thursday I will finish the paint and Friday install it and get those pics. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Speaking of painting and such...

What kinda sanders do you use for your glass projects?

I have 5 different sanders.

I have a basic long sheet sander.(not sure it proper term right now). I use for quick knock downs on flat surfaces and use it on MDF.

Then I have a palm sander. Those are my electric ones.

I have a 6" DA.

A 3" DA.

A 4" that I made to go onto my angle cutter/grinder deal. Slap some 24 - 80 grit on this and cut anything down quickly. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Smullen, I guess I have 6 sanders. I used one today I didn't mention. A 5" random orbital sander, electric.

But thats not why I am posting. The guy was suppose to come get it today, but didn't. SO I threw it together with a gauge I had and a switchbox from another project so you could see the idea of it.

That is bad A$$!!!

I wish I could play with the switches to test out and see how Easy or Awkward it is to use them...

Do you draw or Sketch these before you do them?

If so, can you sketch one for me with the stuff like I had mentioned before?

Also, this is the monitor, I'm looking at getting a few of... I want one in the console...
