S 10 Tweeter Location?

Im going to be installing my component speakers soon. Where in the Chevy S 10 if anyone has done one is the best place to mount the tweeters? Down close to mid or up higher on the pillars? Trying to find location for tweeter and crossovers.

What tweeters are they? Different tweeters have different optimal placements.

My Cal27s are in the doors, as the shine in off-axis enviornments.

put them in the pillars. its an easy fiberglass job.

They are JBL Components P650C I have jbl 4x6 's in the dash and rear pillars so Cant put those tweeters in the dash

Do they come with angle mounts?

They have angle mounts or a pivot mount if you flush mount. I want to flush mount but can turn in and angle it as needed

i put the mid and tweet of a jl 3-way in the dash locations and sounded just fine. glassed into the a pillars or up high on the door would be best i believe

I just mounted mine in the a-pillar because I'm a lazy ***.

They sound good to me, but then again I'm no SQ expert.

Yeah, I didn't think about asking either.

I guess it would make a difference since the 2nd gen's are a lot more curved.
