rust bucket piece of sh*t

yes its way to far. i only did it because im an idiot and dont know what im doing (complete sarcasm)

no its not to far. common ground lengths dont matter. is a run from front to back for a ground too long? no because it links 2 grounds together. in this case the alt is mounted to the block(or off a bracket then the block) so its a common ground. it would be differant if you did a 4 ft ground or so to some sheet metal or the body rather than the chasis

BTW i ran 2 powerbass 5ks at .8 each at one time daily with stock alt and never had an issue because my grounds were solid and i had plenty of 1/0 and batteries. make sure all your connections have some kind of NO-OX lube to keep them from rusting in the future.

yes if the wires you connect all go to the chasis they are common grounds. if one goes to the body and one goes to the frame they are not common grounds so they need to be short but who does body grounds anyways...(insert smiley face who rolls eyes and acts like he is jacking off here)

actually its completly totaled lol. guy bought it and stripped it down for parts. i have had my explorer for about 4 months now. i do know about everything there is to know about escort zx2s so if ya ever need some help just hit me up man.
