rust bucket piece of sh*t

alright so im doing the big 3 today, i know how to do it, i have watched many videos. anyway, all the bolts on my engine block are rusted to ****. its a $500 99 ford escort zx2 (let the trolling begin), and im afraid if i try to undo a bolt its gonna snap off. What would you guys reccomend?

get your engine warmed up first it will make it easier to loosen bolts maybe some wd-40 or some rust buster on what ever blot you are trying to loosen once the engine is hot and get a replacement bolt.also have your vice grips and a file ready in case you round it off.

remember to let the wd soak in there before you go crazy on that bolt. also a couple light taps with a hammer straight down on a bolt will help loosen it up.

WD-40 is for Pu$$ies go to walmart and get this stuff called PB-Blaster it works 10x's better, it will save you some headaches.

PB blaster>WD-40, warm engine and work the bolt/s back and forth.

Seriously though, do as the other guys said and depending on how rusty it really is, you could have a 50/50 chance of getting those bolts out. The bolt may still break and then you've got another problem. Let us know how it goes.

haha its all i good i didnt think you were. i just know i always have like 5 cans of wd laying around. so it was the first thing that popped in my head.

go for the biggest least rusty bolt you can oh and have a wire brush ready to clean that **** up for a nice clean ground.
