Running two extra batteries, this is complicated...

I've popped a 250A front to rear fuse before, so be sure to have enough fusing!

First, install/mount your two rear batteries.

Wire them in parallel. Use a small 1/0 jumper cable and wire the positives together and the negatives together. Now they are essentially one big +12v battery with double the current capability of an individual equivalent battery.

Ground the rear batteries, I personally recommend a solid frame ground and a solid chassis ground. Run you two 1/0 positive wires from your front battery to the input of one of your rear batteries. Make sure to fuse the output near the front battery AND the input near the rear battery. I recommend using ring terminal fuse holders, so you can fuse both wires at the same time...

wire them in series, then the last batt in the series run to the amp.

That is wrong.

If you wire them in series, you will have 24 volts-

I agree with NG, that is how i had them set up in my ride.

So all you need to run is 1 + run back to the rear batts. I think a solid chassis ground in the rear is fine. I also included jumpers for you with ring terminals so you can run a jumper from bat1 to bat2 for both your positive and negative terminals. Keep us updated when you do your install!!
