12" 187 and 1100d

I was wondering what my wiring options are for a single 12" 187 when using a Directed 1100d amp.

Could I wire it to 1 ohm with no ill effects?

If so, just wire it like so...?

Its going in to a ~3cf box @ 33hz.

If its a DUAL2 then yes you can wire it like that..

Forgot to ask, the amp has two sets of speaker outputs.

Does it matter which ones I use???

If its a mono block I would assume it wouldn't matter
