Running two amps to one sub

Lets say I was to connect one coil of a sub to one amp and the other coil to the other amplifier...What ohm would it be at if the sub is a DVC 1? Since I would be connecting each sub to each amp as if the sub was a SINGLE VOICE COIL would it read 1ohm?

So it will come out to to ohm if I connect one positive and one negative to the amp? What DVC do I need to get a 1ohm load or lower?

i have no idea, but im no wiring wizard. Anywho, someone earlier said 2 ohms, but that just doenst make sense.

It's very simple though, that's all I was saying.

If you have 2 1 ohm voice coils, and you have two amps....

You hook up one VC per amp.... there is no way for the wired load to be anything but one ohm to each amp.

If this hasn't been said already.

Its a DVC 1ohm sub. So, you could run the sub at .5ohm or 2ohm with 1 amp.

Hence he want 2 amps and each coil is 1ohm. Then both amps would be running at 1ohm.
