Running Speaker Wire

What is the best way to run speaker wire in your experience? I want to do my own install this summer so I need some advice...

What do you usually remove? Seats, carpet, panels....etc.

Also: For a typical install what types of tools will I need? I'm in the dark about this.

Every car is different. Me personally I put mine under the side panels on the driver side. My advice would just look at your car starting the trunk and try to imagine the best route. Please hid your wires and do it right the first time. It'll save you alot of hassel.

its an '01 honda accord...i plan on using the factory HU with a CleanSweep and a 4 channel amp(not decided on which one)

the reason i asked for types of tools is because i was reading some other things and there were a number of different things you might have to do such as cut and maybe make holes larger.

location of amp: probably under passenger seat

Best advice is to run all new power, speaker and signal wires. Honda accord is simple enough. If possible remove door panels and pull up some of the carpet to hide your wire. Buy the largest power wire you can afford(better to do it just once) Use high quality rca and speker cable. Also a good time to deaden your doors with everything taken apart. Idealy you should be able to work on the install over a weekend without driving it. I would also replace your head unit, but that is just me. I know you only asked about running wire, but I would like to point out there is much more to an install than running speaker wire. Also you should run your amp to the trunk of the car,as most nowdays wont fit under a seat and will be scratched and exposed to lots of dirt dust and debris. You can also do a search on some build logs other members have done to give you an idea of what your in for.

thanks....yeah i asked about running wire because that seems most complicated...

so if i ran the power cable on one side of the car wouldnt it mess with the speaker wires on that side?
