Running Power, RCA and Speakers Side by Side

Any issues with this concept? I have my amps in the rear of my SUV and all the wires will obviously go to the front. Is it worth trying re-route some of these differently?

some say it's bad some say it isn't. i really don't believe you get noise by running your rca's side by side with the power wire, but i still run them opposite anyways, just because it is easier, and less bulk of wires to run on one side.

If you have noise, then you should worry about rewiring, but if it sounds good, then why go through the hassle.

I’m no expert, but after reading what could happen I ended up running each on opposite sides of my truck and haven’t had a problem yet.

I haven't run them yet. I want to make sure I don't have to re-run cabling.

Well, if you don't want to risk having to re-run the wires again, then keep them seperate. Every installation manual will tell you to do this. You may run them all together and have no problems, but you might get noise and have to re-run them again. I would never run them together.

That's because 20 some years ago someone decided that's the way to do it. No body thought to challenge that practice until a few years ago. Come to find out - it's not a cause of noise.
