running active with cda 9855

Just out of curiosity, how do you know that 75rms is cutting it close? I ran my hex's off of 150rms for a while, and they didn't seem to mind at all

Im not to worried that rating is at 14.4 volts which isnt even close to my guestimated volts which is prolly around 12. From what ive heard as well is that it is mostly in the tune. Am I wrong?
