Running active on my Pioneer TS-C520PRS. What crossover point?

I was just wondering if there was anyone on here who is running the 5 1/4 PRS comps Active .. (yes I know,I wish I was able to do the 6.5's:crap. I was curious on what is the best point to cross these at when running active . Ive looked around and it seems that 3.5k hz is popular , but that is on the 6.5's . If someone can recommend me some good info Ill highly appreciate it . Thanks

I say 3.5khz highpass for the Tweeter and lowpass for the mid is great starting point, more likely better for the 5.25 then the 6.5. I would start around a 80hz highpass of the mids and work from there.

So thats:

Tweeters = 3.5khz highpass

Mids = 80hz - 3.5khz bandpass

Both = good starting point

Oh ya don't take the tweeter below the 3.5khz mark they seem to get harsh below that.

Sounds Great man .. Thanks for the help . Im going to be running about 110rms to the mids and 60 to the tweets. Should be sufficient enough
