Running active off of sundown sax-125.4

Well I'm helping my cousin set up his new active amp. I'm used to running active off the headunits though. He has a pioneer avh-8500 double din so were running active off of his amp. Would I need to disable the hpf off the hu?

On my kemwood ddx419 i just set the front and rear to through then set it on the amp its a ppi. bk800.4

i'd set it the same on the headunit as the amp
