Running a pair of comps sets in series?

Hello...

One of the many random projects I was kicking around for the spring/summer is building my own center channel for my home audio/theater system.

I have a handful of Morel gear to play with. I was thinking of using 1 comp set comprised of Supremo Piccollo tweets, Elate 5's and Elate MX22 2way passives. Since the center channel is mono and my home system wants to see an 8ohm load, is there any reason I can't utilize the to comp sets and run them in series (crossover in/out's) for an 8ohm load?

x-over 1 (-)term to x-over 2 (+)term

x-over 2 (-)term to (-) lead from amp

Bueno? No bueno?

Thanks

Why? Basically running a set of comps (tweet,mid,x-over) as normal for a 4ohm load each, then running the 2 sets in series...wouldn't that be 4ohm +4ohm for an 8hm load?

Just to clarify...I have 2 tweets, 2 mids, and 2 x-overs. My thoughts are to just run the 2 'sets' in series for an 8ohm load.

The tweets are 6ohm Supremos, the mids are 4ohm Elates, the x-overs are designed for 6ohm tweets and 4ohm drivers and presents a total load of 4ohms per set or side however you wanna look at it....that's not what I am concerned about...I want to run the 2 4ohm 'sets' in series to create a single 8ohm load. In theory it should be fine...i just don't want to be overlooking something and fry my Morels.
