Running 6x9's to my Amp

I have a 2000 civic and i got polk momo mmc6500 front components in my front and sony xplod 6x9 speakers in my rear and just got a 4 chan hifonics amp and 12" RF sub installed yesterday. I'm running my front speakers to my amp but should I run my 6x9's to my amp also to get better sound out of my 6x9's? Do most people just run there front components to a amp or should I run all 4 of my speakers to my amp with the sub..
