running 2 subs off of mono amp

is it safe to run 2 subs off of a mono amp? i'm getting a kicker kx1200.1 and i want to run two 10" L7s off of it. they are both dual 2 ohm, and the amp is stable down to 1 ohm. what would be the best way to wire?

if they where duel 4 ohm you can take it down to one ohm but sense you got dual two ohm your stuck running them series(leaving them at 2 ohm) and yes its fine to run them both off a one channel amp just run them in full series

get a zx kicker amp instead of a kx kicker amp, zx amps are made to run at 2 ohms

edit: not that a kx cant, but you will get more power with the ZX
