running 2 different batteries

who the **** are you to call me a noob! like i said i have confidence in my wiring and know nothing is going to go bad! yes a fuse is handy but you you realy need them to operate NO! ! some of the loudest vehicles dont run FUSES FYI
cuz they run BREAKERS

no no, all 3 batterys will be ran in series. AF1100 first, then the other 2 yellows. will i have any issues?

If you run them in series you will have a problem. Voltage of over 36 volts. If they are not the same technologies isolate the yellow's and use them for the system and use the other one as a starting batteries. You can mix different batteries, but different batteries charge to different voltages. If you put a yellow top in parellel (sp) with a standard car battery it will only charge to the value of the lesser quality battery. Isolate this same setup and the yellowtop will rest and charge to a higher voltage then the conventional battery.

You are a noob, fuses > you. Unless the wire is less than 2' and somehow mounting a fuse would be impracticle, then I could see not using one, otherwise, simply not choosing to use one is just "not smart." (A nice way to put it.)

It does not matter how "great" of an installer you think you are, and im quite sure some of those loudest vehicles that dont use fuses are also not daily drivers being put under the strain of daily wear and tear.

That's because they are dedicated competition vehicles that strain their electrical systems to the max for only a few seconds at a time. FYI. Is your car a dedicated competition vehicle? No.

I hope you're kidding. If you're not, smack yourself for thinking you are anything other than a "noob installer."

true but mine is only temporary i am buildin a fuse block soon i know fuse is just insurance! thats it. its like driving with out insurance . is what not having a fuse is like!

You are really supposed to fuse everywhere there's a new connection or drop in wire size. I'm also not following all of the rules.

My 2 runs of power are fused, but my big 3 isn't. I also don't fuse for additional batteries. I must run fuses before my amp for MECA:)

fuses are cool and all, but I mean with big ole' wire, chances of them being truly needed (need as in without them the car will burn to the ground) its highly unlikely. Most people don't pull that many amps from their systems because their alt/batt can't handle it. So with 1/0 ga. wire, the chances of it getting too hot and catching fire are highly unlikely. More likely to kill the batt because of voltage drops. But yes, fusing at all new connections is a very good idea. Better safe than car-less over car audio

yeah greatest peen just bough 5 batteries from me. hes ganna win!
Uh oh, I guess I have some competition:)

Here's a sneak peak of my addition that he may face in E-town:
