Ive got 1 2 channel amp for my 2 12's. I want to get a cheap amp for my 4 speakers.

What will i do about wiring etc? Will i be running basically a new setup from the battery like i did my other amp? What about the remote? Will i just tap into the wire on the headunit? thanks!

depending on how much power your running and what gauge wire you have currently, you might be able to get away with just running a wire from one amp straight to the other for the power and just create a new ground for the new amp.

you can do this with the remote wire as well.

but if you want to make sure every things going to be legit and you have the proper wiring, id just run a new power cable from your battery to the new amp. my .02

definitely no expert though.

Its a 4 gauge power wire. Ive got a bunch of 8 gauge wire that i could use for the new amp unless its a must for a block,i havent decided what im getting yet,but it'll probably be a cheap ebay amp around 300 watts or so. Anythings better then what i have for them now.

depending if 4awg is big enough for each amp then just get a block from knu for 8 bucks and get some 4 awg to run from block in trunk to each amp or use the 8awg you have for the power wire and grounds if your amp dosent require anyhing bigger if u wanna stay real cheap.

that amp looks much better! thanks man. Although i wanted a 4 channel amp since i have 4 speakers and i just wanted to wire them individually since linking them would be a pain in the *** since my front speakers are in my dash.

4 channel amps cost alil more then 2 channel amps. But that being said the py will in no way do 400x4@4ohms not never. At best you can expect 40x4 and expect it to take a crap on u not longer after u buy it. Wiring 2 speakers together is just as simple as running each on its own channel. Run all 4 speaker wire just as you would if u had a 4 channel and at the amp twist the pos and neg from the right and put into channel 1 and pos and neg from left side into channel 2. Boom your done..
