rumors/facts/truth?

To a point, sure they will help. Will they help much more than a single good battery? Maybe. Will they help more than a good high output alt (which will probably cost less than a large bank of expensive and heavy batteries)? Doubtful. Adding a ton of batteries to a daily driver thinking that it will serve as a substitute for a good alt is only a band-aid and not a long term fix. Chances are that something will give out. Keep the al running at its max capacity for a long period of time and it will die.

i don't know man..... There's people saying that their alts work like a charm. I had a 200amp alternator from him brand new and I installed it, it wouldn't charge passed 12.1v at any RPM level. I shipped it back to him, he said he fixed it and returned it back to me. After i installed it, it did the same thing. My main point is that my stock alternator and my 160amp alternator charged 14.2v at idle. so i know it's not my car......

I just wanted a refund after the second time because I might be better off with 2-3 yellowtops in the trunk
Im gonan buy one.. try it out, if it poops on me I'll refund that mutha****er back where it came from...

who needs a ton of batteries? and under max load constantly is what hours of sine sweeps?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif and i would use a deep cycle battery not a starter battery.

don't get me wrong, he has great customer service, but I am guessing he overlooked something. he has no problems returning the alternator for a full refund
