RSD Spider

I just got some PG RSDs and havent installed them yet. I noticed on one of the speakers the cone moves freely up and down with the spider(as expected); but on the other speaker the cone and spider seems to be stuck down. It is still attached to the spider but if you push down on it, neither the cone nor spider will move.

Wondering if this is normal/alright?

Should I still try to hook it up and see if it pops out?

Also, would it do any harm to hook it up on a home stereo system?

It does make a tone if I put a battery on it (test polarity) but doesn't move up or down

so he sent you a frozen one probably knowingly.. Hook it up though.. worst that can happen is you are in the same situation it won't hurt anything else..
