RSD 6.5 cutout.

The last few days I've been having a problem with my passenger side comps. It sounded like a short or the speaker blowing. If I turn the volume up, it gets really fuzzy then starts playing clear. If I turn it down, it won't play at all.

I have so far:

Re-secured the speaker wire on the amp and on the crossover and flipping the RCA's over hoping if it was a short on one of the RCA's it would switch to the driver side (it did not).

So where should I go next? When it cuts out, the whole thing cuts out (not just the midbass or tweeter) Could it still be a loose speaker connection inside the door?

I had a similar problem with coax. speakers when I rolled my window down. I had to revamp my wires and pretty much do the whole thing over. It got doubly worse when it rained. I know it's a PITA but try checking all your wires.

+1 for you man. I took the door apart and sure enough I had some build-up on the terminal and it was barely making contact.

No problem man .. That static starts to get on your nerves, especially after long drives.
