Well ive recently started thinking about a 15" lol and stumbled across the MAW-15 for $105. That seems like too good of a deal, is it true. Well anyways i would be running both these subs in there recommended sealed enclosures and was wondering what the MAW-15 is considered. Is it a pure SPL sub or can it hang low SQ wise with the RSd. Cause if it will sound just as good and get just as low as the RSd but be louder and $4 cheaper than it is for me. Thanks for input, oh and i will more than likely run either of these subs off a PG x600.1 or MRP-M850.

Yea thats what i was wondering, louder with the same SQ is a go for me, so that MAW-15 is rated at 500rms, could it take 800rms or stick with the 500?

you have to ask yourself,do you want mainstream or do you want underground? FYI,underground companys offer way more value and technology than mainstream

Well i could care less if the company is mainstream or underground just as long as the product is good which is the impression im getting from mach5. But i suppose if your a new upcoming company you have no other option to sell your stuff cheaper to get people to see you and it would have to be good. Its sounding like the MAW-15 is a SQ sub and for $105 why not, lol. So any power recommendations for this monster? Another question on there site it says 4+4ohm so that means Dual 4ohm right? And the sealed recommendation is 2.2^3, is that including displacement or not?

from experiance the maw 15's sound great and can get pretty loud they will love 400-600 from what ive seen and i herd can take a bit more. they are dual 4 , yes. As for recommendation on encloser im not totally sure.

ull love the maw 15

I had a 12" RSD ported with about 700-800 watts before in a 2.5 cu. ft box tuned to 28. Sounded nice, and got pretty loud. Right now I have a MAW-15 ported at 3 cu. ft. tuned to 28 hz. I'm giving it around 800 watts too. The MAW is definitely louder, but both are good options. Id say if you have room for a 15, go for it, if not, get the 12. I doubt you'll be disappointed either way.
