If you clip them trying to get more power out of that amp yes it will destroy them.

I set the gain with a multimeter. And I’m not using bass boost

My car doesn’t have a CD player so i had to play the test tone through my phone. Ive read that can be a problem. is this true? I have an iPhone 11 pro if that makes a difference
