edzy did you not have the router bit in all the way? looks like it was only in half way and bent. today is the 1st day i've used my router- no injuries yet. knocks on wood.

no, it was all the way in. It worked loose, and the wobble bent it and sent it flying.

It also bounced off my 54" olds too. Luckily no damage, my gut took the brunt of it.

had my bit fly out and hit me in the gut. Small cut, little blood, but nothing to make a thread about.The bit.

I guess its important to tighten with the wrench instead of just your hand:crazy:
