Router Accidents

Just curiouse as to how many of us have had router accidents.... a few days ago I was in a hurry and got my middle and index finger wrapped around a super rabbit while doing a 1/2"x1/2" rabbit cut on a trim ring. It sucked donkey balls.

I have to chicken type for now. Thankfully I didn't loose any fingers, it cut 4 triangles about 3/8" deep on my middle finger and two on my index when it caught the top corner of the blades.

knowing how to properly use a router is a good way to prevent such accidents along with paying attention and proper router safety

If I took pictures of it now I'd get called a puss cause it's healing back very well, it looked a lot worse a few days ago cause I had 6 flaps of skin hangin down. one of those that made you sick to your stomach after it happened.

Well, I was rushing to get these rings done. Won't ever do that again.

i had a 3/4in. diamond bit on a router once, using it in the basement. it flew out of the router hit my friends rubber sole on his shoe, bounced off that into the dry wall and into something else and broke into 2 pieces.

im glad i didnt hit him in the face with it
