Howdy. I'm soon gunna be building a daily driven spl box and was wondering if i could use round ports w/o getting mad port noise. For some reason every time i use round ports i get port noise and i was wondering if you guys had any tips for eliminating port noise in round ports. Thank you.

If you get port noise, then you don't have enough port area. What size port did u use?

Did you smooth the edges of the port?

to get rid of port noise, use multiple tubes and/or a bigger diamter tube.

i usually use 4 or 3 inch diameter ports. Does box size matter? Last box was 1.5 cubes. I got horrible noise. What about position? If i put the ports absolutely smack dab in the corner and round out the back side of the corner will the air flow through it smoother. Thanks again.

try rounding off the edges of the port if you havnt already

Power compression. You're sending the sub a lot of power with to small a port.
