Round or slotted

haha so my kicker manual says to do a slotted box. can i just do a round one? and use the calculator: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp? should i brace the box?

it should be ok with the round port .People say you can get port noise with round ports put i didnt get any with my set up . i have 2 12s 6oorms box is 4.5cuft with 2 4inch ports box is tuned to 35hz

you can go round but i would slot if thats what its says to do and i would also brace it just makes it a more sturdy box
