Rookie here..need some help

Ok I had to go recheck some things and get some exact measurements. The enclosure is:

18in 11/16 w

13in 3/4 ht

12in d top

16in 1/2 bottom

2 1/2 in port

btw...I said 8ga wire was being used before when it's actually 6 ga. I believe it was mentioned that I should be using 4 ga. After having this amp for a week I'm starting to think about upgrading the sub to a p3d212 (500 rms/1000pk). The p2d212 i'm using now is only 250rms/500pk. Would the amp (rf r500-1) be able to effectively push the p3?

Do you have a birth sheet on the RF 500-1?

Mine says it does 700W @14.4V so, should push a P3 no problem...
