Jb weld, most two part epoxys at the store have their uses written on the box so just check em out before you buy

I just don't know how strong they would be. Like I have my doubts. Idk, not experienced with it.

yeah we use it here at my job a lot. a lot of the farmers around here will use it for fixing blocks on equipment. i wouldnt hesitate to use it if it was me

Yep. Thinking about 1/8, 2 layers in some sections.

Make sure and sand it with 80 grit or so to help with adhesion. JB Weld will make something permanent so use wisely LOL

Make sure you use an adhesive that dries into solid form. You dont want an epoxy that would cure and remain soft/pliable (think silicone), because this would only serve to decouple the two pieces of metal, exactly the opposite of what you are wanting to accomplish with your roof supports. JB Weld does cure hard, Im only saying this in case you decided to try something else, or for others reading this who may choose to use something other than JBW.
