Roof Mounted 6.5 n Tweets. Right Above Your Head. To Much?

Just because I like comin up with different things. Im going to be buying a new set of 6.5" components as Im unhappy with my cadence ones. I was thinking of mounting both the driver and the tweet right above my head, right where the sunroof visor tucks away since its recessed and I could fit it in there without intruding out of the headliner to much if I did fiberglass.

Heres a pic, I would probly be completely removing the flip down visors.

Any info on how it would sound to have PG RSD's about 12" above and infront of your head when sitting back? I wouldnt be running door speakers and will probably buy another set of tweets run off the deck to mount in the doors since I already have tweets in there and need to fill the holes in my door panel.

Worth the fun n trouble to do? Couldnt find any other roof mounted speakers when i searched

If you want to look like a retard and have one of the worst sound stages ever, go for it. Honestly, this is like some Pimp My Ride nightmare shit.

Just get some better comps, deaden your doors well, and call it a day

Anyone ever heard it? I figured them being right infront of you angled towards you with the tweet the same and a tweet from the door would be kinda cool sounding.

I do already have VERY deadened doors

NO. They will sound like *** and look like ***. Stop being retarded and just get better equipment and do a better install.

If you're unhappy with your speakers, and have deaden your doors already, I think it's time for an upgrade. Upgrade as in getting better speakers, not upgrade as in moving them up.

Im not trying to "fix" anything, just never seen it done and didnt know if it would sound good or not. Assumed it would based on location and proximity
If you don't like the sound you have, then you are trying to fix something. And honestly, it would just mess up your whole soundstage. Pleas please please don't do it.
