Ron Paul Break Record

and this is the sole reason why 3rd parties fail in the US //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Well Hillary could sneak into office if enough people waste votes on 3rd parties. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

What sound so extreme about it?
It sounds about as extreme as the creation of the IRS...or the 16th amendment for that matter.

Undoing a bad idea is not always as extreme as one might think.
True that.

But Ron Paul has an outside shot, at best.

the "real" reason for the 2 party system is due to the winner take all single member district plurality type of elections we have. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ok , we get rid of the IRS and pull all of our troops out of everywhere in the world. Sounds familiar, anyone remember Vietnam? From the reading I've done on it there were ppl hanging on to helicopter runners trying to get out

or maybe you guys know of a guy named Osama bin laden? Yea we trained him as many of you know and he got pissed off bc we abandoned him ... we do the same in iraq now and there will be a ton of new osamas... great ideas i tell ya

Jeff (werewolf on ECA) explained it better...

Say we did have 3 equal candidates:

And the votes was split

33,33,34

That would mean 66% of the people would be unhappy with the results of the election.

In our current system, at most 49% of the people are unhappy with the results.

However, his explanation does not account for the electoral college, where a candidate can have greater than 50% of the votes, yet still lose the election.

If we wouldn't fvck with affairs of others, we would not have trained OBL in the first place.

Furthermore, it doesn't appear that the extremist bombings have died down since our occupation. The fact that I still see American soldiers names on the night news doesn't seem to strengthen your position.

Won't happen in my lifetime.
Not if you don't believe it.

Your looking at it from the voters perspective, im looking at it from a party perspective.

read up on the economic theory of democracy, particularly about how 2 parties want to fight over as few ppl as possible and you will better see my point
