Rockford T1d410 upgrade

Hi im looking to upgrade from my 2 - t1d410 subs and was looking at the alpine swr-12d4 ype r subs. Is this an upgrade or what other options should i look at? I have a hifonics brutus 2100w rms amp and im looking to push 2000w. Im at 1200w on the rockford fosgate 10s but still looking for more bass mainly low notes.

Are alpine subs good? Amazon has them for $160 a piece. Seems like a really good deal to me.

If i were ranking an alpine sub from 1-10 I'd probably give it a 3. At that price range buy a Welcome to [soundQubed] - [ Your source for Clarity, Quality and Anything Car Audio.]

So what should i look into getting? I want a really good quality 12" sub around 1500-2000w rms without breaking the bank. I dont want to spend more than $300-$400. I wana buy once and be happy with it.

Not even close. That's a 7. A 10 would be a DD Z.

A 9 would be a team sundown or DD 99

A 8 would be a sundown Z or DD 95.

Ect ect

As for sundown and DD

If all you care about is the first audible octave than sundown.

If you want to play the full range of bass without it sounding bloated under 40hz than DD.

They are about as good as you can get when it comes to output and overall quality.

One just fills a niche one does everything well.

If i buy a soundqube hdc3.112 will i be dissapointed comming from 2 rockford t1s?

A single? It will depend on the box. If the T1s are in a prefab and the 12 is in a real box it will kill them.

If both are in ideal boxes it will be to close to call.

That DD 712 will eat them for lunch

I have the t1 10s in a custom ported box at 3.5 cubes. What about cresendo controlto subs? Just ran accross those aswell.
