Seriously i already know there are a ton of rockford haters for whatever reason unless it was a personal experience IDC and if it was only ONE expierence i still DONT CARE..i love everything rockford ive ever owned and will admit its not the BEST...but thats a matter of opinion anyways at least we can all agree on Pyle being a Pile lol

With that said i currently own 4 Rockford T1s (all black) they are fairly clean and make a lot of things rattle i have a custom ported 10 cube (after speaker displacement) box tuned to 32 herts...2 audiopipe 3000d amps (subs are all dual 2 ohms) Stuff SLAMS ive heard a lot of set ups and this is one of the best ive heard or had...

**Question being

I can trade these for 2 15 inch rockford T2's (black models) both are dual 2 ohms so one sub per amp should b fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif..but will this be an upgrade or a downgrade..please give reasons...

I just dont want to make a dumb mistake ..consider in the right box what will get lower and harder

Here comes the flames ROCKFORD ***** GET THIS... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/moon.gif.9d317aec3339ffe7fde0638df52c628a.gif

lol complaining about a post with no input even stupid...too immature all the time on here ugh....

My t1's are 12s...im assuming the upgraded power and cone size of the 15's would outdo the 12s?

well those t2s are d2... so you cant wire down each one for optimal power....id keep whatcha got.
i wont be able to wire it directly at 2 ohms a sub? BUT the amp is also said to do 2000 rms at 4 ohms bridged...should b better on my electrical and sound quality even

You might gain a couple tenths on the meter but to the ear there probably wouldnt be a difference. You are keeping the same cone area and same power and maybe gaining a few mm of excursion and maybe a little more motor force but with less surface area for cooling. Not worth it IMO.

i would personally keep what you have, or upgrade to 4 12 t2s......or consider 2 18s of tc, fi, etc....

from one RF fan to another....only product i was ever dissapointed with was the prime series woofers.R1s

4 t1s would b fun and I've thought about an 18 but what's the sound quality like with one and I don't think I cab fit 2 in my explorer but can one be good enuff without killing the bank?

I live in OH but I'm less than 5mi from the border, I go to University of Toledo. Where did you see a setup like mine? I go to car shows and started going to MECA shows.

The box is what will determine how the subs will play. You can get 18s that sound good and won't break the bank too bad. And they will fit in your Exploder.
