whats the deal with these are they good amps do rated power will it be like all the other rockford products I had great quality and good performance or they went cheap with these series

yes they are actually underrated, and i would recommend everything in the series, with the exception of the subwoofers, and i have owned/ or installed just about every amp, speaker and woofer within this series. another good thing about them is that the amps are extremely efficient.

cool now I have 2 dual 2 subs can I get 2 of these and then eventally strap like 4 of them?

im sure there is a way, but why not get two and run a final 2 ohm load? all depends on what amp you are looking at specifically the r5001?

R1000-1D because this does over 1000 at 2 ohms, which i think is the best bang for your buck within this series you can get these considerably cheaper than the 1200s.

The prime series amps are pretty much stripped down budget amps very similar to alot of other budget amps on the market , you could do much better for the $$$ , if you are set on RF stick with the Punch or Power series.

I've had personal experience with the R300-4, R500-1, and R1000-1D

You don't really need to "strap" just use the pass through and may be a line driver if you are going to run 4the amps
