I have 2 P312D4 12s. one with a completely separated surround with ok coils, and one that seems to be blown but ohms out ok. What should i do. I can't get either apart without removing the cone. I want to upgrade to one 15" to match my hifonics bx1500d.

if you wanna upgrade, then go for it. idk to much about cone replacements, im sure you'd just have to get some type of glue to glue the cone back down.. but anyways, best bet would to prob buy a new sub..

and if you mean match by matchin the RMS there's a few su options: SSA icon (D1 wired up to 2ohms), fully loaded FI BL or a BTL(about 500rms under powered though), DC sound Level 3 or 4(prob go w/ lvl4 tho), AQ HDC, etc.. theres plenty of options, you can run 1000RMs subs t 2ohms and be good, if you run a sub on one ohm make sure it can handle that power. can also do two 12s/15s rated around 750rms wired @ 1ohm.
