do you guys like the rockford cheaper subs? or are they just too cheap?

Im thinking of getting 4of them for $240 or should i go with 2 15s $300?

what kind of box would you guys go with?

i like spl

or should i go with 2 more expensive subs?

any comments would be great

wow you just contradicted yourself.

so you either want 4/2 bad sounding subs or 2 higher quality subs. hmmmmm

unless you're getting rockford to be cool don't touch them. do your research

I don't know so much about "dont touch Rockford unless you're buying them to be cool" being such sage advice.

While I'm not terribly impressed with their Punch-series subs (and more specifically the Punch Stage 1 subs - they truly do just ****) the Power-series drivers are fairly impressive! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif But those aren't the subs that the OP asked about...

Do you happen to know anyone in the states you could have an online order shipped to that would pass the package(s) along to you once they took possession of them?

The reason I ask is because most stateside vendors of Kicker gear have a buy 1, get 1 sale on the Kicker CompVR going right now until June 30th.

For the $300 you are contemplating spending on a pair of 15" Punch Stage 1 subs you could buy four (4) Kicker CVR 12s from Crutchfield - and that's shipped price!

$150/shipped would get you two of them.

$300 would get you two pairs of them.

For $20 less and $40 less respectively you could downsize to the 10s if that fits your intended install space better.

Anyway - if there is some stateside address you could get them shipped to (Crutchfield does not ship outside of the US that I am aware of) and then get them forwarded to you from there I think four CVR 12s would be a much better option overall for your money.
