rockford fostgate vs hifonics little help please?

Ok so today I got into an argument with the manger at Mickey shorrs I bought a rockford fostgate t500.1bd from him to power my 12" American bass VFL Exterme which likes about 1500 watts rms this little amp spit out around 600 at 2ohms for me. I wanted more power eventually I told him when I bought and he said I could bring in back for a refund well I do this today 11 days since I bought and he refuses to refund the item saying he can't since it went past 7 days. He then asked what kinda amp I got since I stated this wasnt enough power for me I tell him " a Hifonics Brutus BRZ 2100.1D" and he flips a nut telling me that amp isn't any where close to the Rockford and that hifi is a piece of crap and I waisted my time and money. Now I'm assuming he's just a little Rockford fan boy because when I stated the numbers and how the Brutus pretty much doubles that the T500.1bd at every ohm level he says that it's not the true power and that they just say that but Rockford doesn't fake it's birth sheets. So my question to all of you is the Brutus BRZ 2100.1D in fact a better amp then the T500.bd?

The Rockford is better quality. How are you going to compare a 500 watt amp to a 2000 watts amp?

Then the manager is a liar...well half way anyway...

The RF is a better quality amp, but the Brutus will obviously do a good bit more power. If they'd said RF 2000 vs Hifinocs 2000 then the manager would be completely right

Well see this isn't about quailty that's what got me ticked I'm looking at power. The fact that he tried saying a 500 watt amp will put more power out then a 2000 watt is what I'm here to figure out. There's no way in hell that T500.1bd is better is there?

I honestly would pick the RF 1500 over the Hifonics 2100, not for the price though

not power wise, not unless it was a cheater amp, which it is not

Ok now so I don't get bitched at by any Rockford lovers. I have no problem with Rockford I actually really enjoyed the T500.1bd i just wanted more power and I was suggested to get a Brutus which I love. Thank you all for clearing this up for me

yea giant FAIL, for the manager..... quality RF is better of the 2. but power def the brz

I ran the Brutus BXI2005 model and loved it on 2 15's. I had no problems whatsoever with output, overheating or anything of the sort. As stated, it is by no means a cheater amp...but I bet with a big 3 and adequate electrical, it will be close on wattage to stated rms specs...within a respectable 10% anyways.

i wouldnt have spent the money on that hifi. its a waste. so where u located at? im guessing gr? im from holland.....
